Hoyett's Big Trout Fishing Tournament

Hoyett's sponsored the 1st out of 5 Big Trout Fishing Tournaments on November 15th, 2003.
It was a cloudy overcast morning with temperatures in the low 40's.

Blast Off and weigh-in was at Devil's Fork State Park.
There were 33 entries- 12 boats with 11 fish to be weighed in.
First there were the door prizes-
* A Hoyett's Cap, A $50.00 Gift Certificate to Wal-Mart from Nick Adams at www.lakejocassee.com , Cap, shirt, fisherman's paperweight, and picture frame from Devil's Fork State Park, Christmas Ornament from Hoyett's, Fishing lures from Russ Reynolds at Badcreek Baits, Bill Terrell provided two- 3 day/2 night packages for a presidential suite for two at an Orlando Resort. (These will be given in December and February), Jeff Meyers from Carolina Keepers provided a custom lure with carrying case ( His lures are sold at Hoyett's- to be given away at a later tournament) and South Carolina Traveler's Publisher, Bill Watkins donated a custom made lure gift box by David Maxwell.
Sam Jones of Anytime Fishing won South Carolina Traveler's Gift Box by David Maxwell.
