What a perfect November morning on the Diversion Canal. The sunrise was spectacular.
There wasn't any sitting room inside Hill's Landing's Restaurant. You could hear the laughter from outside the door- and smell coffee, the bacon and ham. The buzz inside was all about who was going to land the Big Cat and win the guaranteed $2.000.00 for 1st Place. There were many opportunities to win the big cat money in many different categories in Hill's family oriented 1st Tournament. One that when I first saw it- struck me- what? 1,000 for 10th place? Jamie Courtney, Owner of Hill's Landing, said he received a lot of calls.
